Fencing and Gate Systems for Distribution Centers and Data Centers
United Fence installs temporary construction fencing, permanent perimeter fencing, and commercial gate systems for distribution and data center facilities across Central Arkansas. We handle the construction phase and the permanent phase on one or two contracts. If your project is in the Little Rock metro or anywhere in our Central Arkansas service area, we quote from a site visit.
Perimeter Fencing and Access Control for Distribution and Data Center Facilities
A distribution or data center perimeter has two requirements that most fence projects do not: scale and continuity of access control. A facility of this type often runs a quarter mile of perimeter or more, with multiple truck entries, employee entrances, and controlled access points that have to work around the clock.
United Fence is a commercial fence contractor based in North Little Rock. We install permanent perimeter fencing and commercial gate systems at commercial and industrial facilities across Central Arkansas. Every project starts with a site visit and a written quote based on your actual site dimensions.

Temporary Fencing During Construction
The construction phase of a distribution or data center project requires perimeter control before any permanent fence is in the ground. Temporary fencing defines the site boundary, restricts access to active construction zones, controls staging areas, and meets site-safety requirements throughout the build.
United Fence installs and removes temporary construction fencing as part of the overall fence scope or as a standalone service. For more on construction-phase fencing applications and options, see our guide on types of construction site fencing.
When the build is complete, we can transition directly to the permanent perimeter install. Having the same contractor on both phases simplifies sequencing and eliminates handoffs between trades for the fence scope.

Permanent Perimeter Security
The permanent perimeter fence on a distribution or data center site has to hold up under continuous environmental exposure, resist unauthorized access attempts, and support access control systems at every entry point.
Chain link is the most common choice for large commercial perimeters: easy to repair at the panel level, available in gauges and coatings appropriate for the application, and efficient to install over long runs. Industrial fencing is appropriate for facilities with higher security requirements. For perimeters where climbing is a threat, see our anti-climb fencing page for options.
For a broader treatment of high-security perimeter systems, see our resource on high-security perimeter fencing.
Access Gates and Truck Entry
Large distribution facilities need gates sized for truck traffic at the primary entry points and pedestrian-scale gates at employee entries. The gate system has to handle continuous daily use, support whatever access control integration the facility requires, and hold up to the physical demands of vehicle traffic.
United Fence fabricates gate components in-house and installs commercial gate systems for commercial and industrial facilities. We install slide gates, swing gates, and barrier arm systems.
See our commercial gate systems page for the full scope of gate installations.
Custom Fabrication for Non-Standard Sites
Distribution and data center sites are not built to standard dimensions. Entry openings that are too wide for catalog gate panels, perimeter sections that require non-standard post spacing, or gate configurations that need to match a facility’s existing architecture: these are the cases where in-house fabrication matters.
United Fence fabricates fence and gate components in-house at our North Little Rock facility. We build custom gate panels, non-standard widths, and specialty configurations that a catalog supplier cannot provide. See our in-house fabrication page for details on what we produce.
One Contractor from Site Prep to Turnover
Temporary fencing during construction, permanent perimeter after, and the gate and access systems throughout: most facility builds bring separate contractors for each phase. The temporary fence company leaves and the permanent fence company comes in, and neither knows what the other installed.
United Fence can cover the temporary and permanent phases on one or two contracts managed by the same team. We understand the site from the construction phase, which means no re-survey, no re-coordination with other trades, and no gap between phase-one departure and phase-two mobilization.

Distribution and Data Center Fencing FAQs
Chain link is the most common perimeter fencing for data center sites because it can be installed over long runs, is easily repaired at the panel level, and is available in gauges appropriate for a secured perimeter. For facilities where anti-climb is a requirement, see our anti-climb fencing page.
Yes. United Fence installs temporary construction fencing for site control during the build phase and permanent perimeter fencing for the operational facility. We can manage both scopes independently or as a coordinated project with the same team.
We price from a site visit. For a large perimeter, the quote depends on the linear footage, the fence type and gauge, post spacing and footing requirements, the number and type of gate openings, access conditions during install, and site-prep state. Call (501) 222-1503 or request a quote online to schedule a site visit.
Yes. United Fence fabricates fence and gate components in-house at our North Little Rock facility. Non-standard widths, custom panel dimensions, and specialty gate configurations are available. See our in-house fabrication page for the scope of what we build.
